Hickory Hill Country Inn is situated in the delightful community of New Ulm, Texas --just a short drive to Round Top, Warrenton, Fayetteville, Brenham, and the rolling hills of Texas. The perfect home base for those weekends of antique shopping in the country, or viewing the beautiful wildflowers for which our area is so famous.

Adelaide's Cottage sleeps up to three guests. There is a twin and queen bed in the cottage, as well as a private bath, dressing area, and breakfast bar.  A covered porch and rocking chairs provide a relaxing location from which to enjoy the small town atmosphere.  

The Carriage House will accommodate up to six guests. The morning room, with views of the  countryside, is a pleasant place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea, or to watch the sunset in the evenings.  The Carriage House has a private balcony, bath and dressing area, a queen bed, a double bed, a twin/trundle bed, all furnished in cozy, comfortable, cottage style.

Lily Pond's Cottage

Curly Q Ranch is a nature preserve, a place of safety for wildlife, and a place of sanctuary for all life. Lodging is provided by Lily Pond's Cottage, an entire house with surrounding acres, clear road-paths for walking tours, ample spots to stop, to sit on swings, to watch wildlife in a very friendly environment.

The chalet-type cottage itself has a large, elevated porch with rocking chairs--a comfortable spot for watching the pond's activities. Upstairs, one can walk out on front and back balconies, enjoy coffee on the tables, and enjoy the woods from the back-balcony swing.

The upstairs loft contains a king bed with Visco Memory Foam mattress provided by Antique Bed Mattress, hypo-allergenic mattress pad and down pillows. Regardless of season, one can experience the sweetest sleep between open windows, under a down comforter when cold, but the cottage does have all-season climate control.

A totally private encounter with Nature in a luxurious cottage chalet is priceless.

Wildflowers Bed and Breakfast

Wildflowers, an Industry, Texas Bed and Breakfast, in the historic Boelsche House, is located in Industry, Texas, the first German settlement in the state. It is so positioned northwest of Houston that it is considered a Round Top Texas Bed and Breakfast and a Brenham Texas Bed and Breakfast.

Wildflowers has accommodations for up to eight adults and three children in it's four bedrooms and baths. Lucille's Guest Cottages and Cabins

Fayette County maintains the treasures and charms of the past. The people, countryside, and buildings represent a Texas German and Czech heritage that began during the 19th century and remains alive today. Our cottages and cabins provide the choice of the small town charm of Fayetteville or a farmhouse on 15 wooded acres.

Martha's Kitchen Cottage - This tiny cottage, on two acres, is in the Fayetteville city limits but has all the charm of the country. This cottage has a full size bed, a single trundle bed, A/C, heaters, TV/VCR, CD/radio, phone, and a large front porch with a great view. The modern kitchen and bathroom are stocked with colorful linens and Fiestaware.

Live Oak Street Cottage - This small cottage in Fayetteville, Texas is yours alone to enjoy. A queen size bed is in the bedroom and the country bathroom has a deep clawfoot tub with shower.  The living/dining/kitchen area provides additional sleeping accommodations with a comfortable queen sofa sleeper. You are just a few steps off the historic Town Square where you can view the "goings-on" from the cottage's front porch as you hear the courthouse clock strike away the hours.

The Farmhouse at Freyburg – Located between La Grange and Schulenburg, this theme decorated, two-bedroom farmhouse includes A/C, TV for VCR, bath with shower, complete kitchen, all linens and dishes. The "Cowboy" room with queen bed and single roll-away, features western memorabilia. The "Country Room" has two double beds, quilts and many items used in the early days on the farm.

Schulz Services

The Texan house was moved to New Ulm and remodeled in 2004 by David and Bonnie Schulz  ----   the Texas star is displayed throughout the house including the dishes. It has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds.  Each bedroom has a private bathroom.  The front bedroom has a cowboy tub with brass clawfeet and engraved "lone star", and th pine bedroom bath has a double shower. The house can be rented per night.

The Lovely house was built in the early 1900's in New Ulm, Texas.  The home has 2 bedrooms and each has a private bathroom.  The bathrooms have clawfoot tubs and a corner shower for convenience.  The bedrooms have queen size beds.  This home has central air and heat, a sitting area, dining room, living room and a complete kitchen.

There is also a front porch with two swings and a deck in the back.  During the spring you can enjoy the bluebonnets and wild flowers in the area. 

Most of the furniture was given to David Schulz from his great-grandfather, Christopher William Thielemann who settled in Welcome, Texas in 1866.

The Bootstraps at Round Top, Round Top, TX
